New Tulsa Bank Branch Breaking Ground on Brookside marks a major milestone in our long-term commitment to serving customers in Tulsa and across Oklahoma. First National Bank of Oklahoma, an $900 million community bank headquartered in Oklahoma City, officially began construction on its new full-service Tulsa banking office in September 2025.
Located at 1321 E 36th Street in the heart of Brookside, this modern facility represents the next chapter in our growth and our dedication to offering high-touch, relationship-focused banking to Tulsa’s thriving small business community.
Inside Our New Tulsa Bank Branch on Brookside
Scheduled for completion in fall 2026, the new Tulsa bank branch was designed to blend with the Brookside neighborhood and support both personal and commercial banking needs.
Building a full-service banking office in Tulsa has been part of our strategic vision since we opened our Tulsa Loan Production Office in 2015. Over the past decade, we have developed strong relationships with Tulsa’s small businesses, entrepreneurs, and our rural partners—and this expanded presence allows us to continue building out our infrastructure and back office support to serve them even more effectively.
What to Expect From Our Full-Service Tulsa Banking Office
Our new Tulsa bank branch will launch with a complete team of experienced banking professionals, including:
- Small business and commercial lenders
- Customer service representatives
- Tellers
- Loan assistants
This office will support both everyday personal banking and more complex commercial lending needs. Our office will have a full-service teller lobby but no drive-thru.
A Tulsa Bank Specializing in USDA Lending
We excel at helping small business owners who value a high-touch, boutique private banking experience. A core focus of the new Tulsa bank branch will be traditional small business relationship banking, supported by our deep expertise in government-guaranteed lending programs, especially the USDA guaranteed loan programs including Business & Industry and Community Facilities programs. You will be hard pressed to find another lender with more experience in these programs than us.
Led by a Fifth-Generation Oklahoma Bank Owner/Operator
The Tulsa branch will be led by Patrick D. Rooney, a fifth-generation bank owner/operator. Traditionally, most banks operated with this sort of partnership structure, with key principals having significant “skin in the game” and direct experience managing credit risk. Over time this model has evolved into a clunkier iteration, with many customers experiencing frustration over multiple layers of bureaucracy leading to murky credit decisions. In the banking business size doesn’t always lead to better outcomes, and if you have been frustrated by one of our larger competitors we encourage you to give us a call to see if our model might be a better fit for your small business.
Our Commitment to Integrity
Even as the banking industry evolves, one principle remains unchanged: integrity.
We believe a bank is only as strong as its word. When we make a promise, we keep it. This approach has helped us earn the trust of Oklahomans for more than 120 years.
A Bright Future for Our New Tulsa Bank Branch
We look forward to expanding our presence in Tulsa and serving our customers through this new full-service location. With our modern facility, experienced team, and unwavering commitment to community banking, we are confident the future is bright for our friends and customers here in Oklahoma.
Construction updates will be shared as the project progresses. We can’t wait to welcome you to our new Tulsa bank branch in 2026!
